Made some cheese steaks with prime ribeye on home made pretzel rolls

I've got family coming over tomorrow for lunch, so I'm gonna rock:
micro-arugula salad with red onion, grapefruit sections, grated carrot, & yellow peas with blood orange olive oil & grapefruit balsamic vinegar
baked venison bacon cheeseburger ziti with gruyere, cheddar, Romano, & chevre
halved Brussels sprouts & whole shallots oven-roasted in avocado oil with alder-smoked salt & crushed white peppercorns
Parker House rolls with whipped agave "butter"
sweet potato pie in a candied ginger crust with roasted hazel & hickory nuts & vegan whipped cream

Dried powder or sauce? (Both are off-the-hook.)

Powder, would have been hard to get the sauce evenly mixed. The sauce is da bomb with fried rice though (and just about anything else too).

Which chips did you use?

Monin Pina colada flavor syrup is unreal. Their almond syrup is excellent too. A cook/bartender i know says that the finest restaurants, bars and hotels use Monin syrups in drinks. I don't wonder at all. There must be a ton of sugar in it because that stuff is viscous to say the least. It almost oozes out rather than flows out.

Those Taffel Chili Wheel things. They had absolutely no chili in them whatsoever, a real disappointment out of the bag.

the apple slices from the Happy Meal

McDonald's has some amazing fucking technology to be able to sap every molecule of apple flavor from apple slices & replace it with the faintest of vinegar tastes with a hint of a poolwater aroma. Viva science!!!

Virginia Team Invitational yum yums I'm preparing today/tonight:
pepper-rubbed oak-smoked beef brisket
pineapple/cumin marinated pulled jackfruit

fluffy white rolls
assorted home-preserved pickles (cuke, fennel, squash, corn, beet, turnip, red onion, anything else interesting I find in my cellar larder)
espresso-infused barbecue sauce
horseradish/lime aioli
assorted home-formulated hot sauces
Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Dr Pepper, H2O

Tried a new recipe of chicken liver pate, it turned out a bit dark brown for my taste as I prefer it more light brown or even pink. It's pretty good though and I'll probably make it again but just cook it a little less. Has bacon, spiced rum, onions, garlic, cloves, allspice, mustard seed, and a little hawk hallow heat in it along with the livers.
