So I've managed to find something completely different to throw for my fairway slot: The S-CD. Liking it's additional speed, and is more workable than a stalker without being too stable/overstable. Of course, it helps that I found 3 first runs on sale at PIAS.

CDs are a bit too fast for what I was wanting. Teebirds and Rocs have made (another) triumphant return.

added a 175 pro boss for open distance. I feel like I -should- be able to throw these about 410', since I'm consistently getting my OLFs to 385' (assuming no nose angle issues, I know they will really show with the boss)

Good call adding the boss to the bag. Also added a 175 star for a little added stability. Today I had 4 measured (by gps) throws over 410', and hit 425' - only throws I had with the boss. Once I actually get used to throwing them I think I will be clearing 430' and consistently over 415' which is what I intended.

If I get a little time this week I will bring the handycam to the course for some technique footage to back up these claims

Clutch is holding the putting slot right now. We'll see if it's consistent enough to move challengers out. It's going to take some getting used to, but it's not so understable that it can't be used in the wind - although I have to be much more firm with my putts in a headwind with it.

Still trying the Clutch out, and it's a good putter, but I think I'll stick with challengers in the end. The S/MOLFs that I really like are getting really difficult to find, and I was really only throwing them for turnovers, so I went with something much more readily available. I only have so much time nowadays, and the less time I can spend chasing certain runs of discs, the more time I actually have to practice with something I can find locally.

it's mainly a safety blanket for now, but I still use it for low power turnovers instead of a flippy putter.

definitely thought about it, but I've never been that comfortable with big beaded putters.

Clutch was about as permanent as a facebook status, it turns out. I had WAY more issues with nose down releases, and I have no idea why. Frustrating enough where I think my patience just ran out, and challengers are back at home where they should be. Other than that, not much change in the bag, and I don't forsee any in the future. Really comfortable with 6 molds. Anything more just seems like needless complications at this point.

Hehe I know, right? Simplicity seems to be what I need for my game right now.

I haven't gone without a comet since right after they came out again in z plastic. The OLF was a mainstay for while, but out mostly because finding 1.1s is getting so difficult. I booted 11x teebirds out for the same reason a couple of seasons ago. I like plastic that is easy to procure and readily available.
