It's an intense workout and you only use your own body so you don't need any weights or pullup bars. It's mostly push-up based exercises, a lot of jumping and squatting type exercises, some jogging in place exercises and stretching. I think it's even made by the same company who did P90X.
*Note* There is an Insanity: Asylum that requires equipment, I haven't tried that one. I did Insanity for almost a month and I lost a decent amount of weight and gained about 2 inches of vertical to my jump... then I got a job, moved into a small apartment and no longer had the room to do it.

Stay away from all pop (yes, even diet).

Ya... Pop is my drug of choice, I gave that up for lent and can believe how much better my clothes are starting to fit and I'm hardly exercising... I'd like to give it up for good, and I did for about 3 years straight. But as soon as you say "oh I'll just have one a week", it's all over![]()

Oh man If I would not have done this i definitely would have given it a try. Maybe when I am done with this I will try yours instead of the P90X. What type of equipment do you need for your workouts? weights, chin-up bar etc.??? Do you also include cardio? I like the Power 90 because I only need the power bands or weights but I didn't like the price!!! I definitely like your customized workout idea!!! That would definitely be something that interests me especially when I get done with this and get in shape.
Right now I am on day 24 and down about 14 lb's and feel really good and that is without completely following the meal plan.I am going to reevaluate my progress at 30 days and take another picture. I know my clothes are fitting better and i have a bit of a bounce to my step. Went out and played 18 holes the other day(smaller course) and it really didn't even phase me where as before this i would have been tired out.
