LaRussa played mind games, and he was pretty good at it. He used to get Dusty Baker all wound up about nothing. From this side it was pretty funny to watch. Baker spent a whole Hell of a lot more time bitching about LaRussa and the Cardinals than the Cardinals spent bitching about his teams. I kinda liked Baker when he managed SF, but since then he has been a little whiny bitch.

It's not really a reach so much as a comment on when they lost my support. Also getting Dusty riled up is like getting me to make a gay joke.

Kinda pissed that every poser baseball fan in Austin wears a rangers cap now. about 3 years ago it was all Astros. When the AAA team(Express) switched from Astros to Rangers affiliate, most of Austin especially the newspaper got all up on the Rangers nuts. Was funny watching the rangers fans leave the bar when Darvish blew up in the first 2 innings.

HEY! I had an idea... instead of complaining about the thread... why don't I bring up something on DGCR... I R Spetial!

Anyway, how about the no excuses thread. I don't think it was two pages in before there was a blow up about how the company is obviously horrible because one person's experience. Granted the bags are kinda janky... but it was cool that paul mcbeth came to try to promote on the site. However I think he could make a bigger impact trying to interact with people on the sight (ala mark ellis) instead of just coming to peddle product.
