Tell that to Jussi Meresmaa, he's a spin putter and uses the P2.

I've never had a problem with the glide of the P2 btw, from what I've seen it has excellent glide, but the fade sometimes brings it down prematurely.

Jussi isn't really the norm. he is a world top 10 talent if he had time to play 40 events a year. but you can't really say that the P2 is the ideal spin putter. Most spin putters gravitate towards shallow or more streamlined putters. it is a better spin putter than the aviar BB because you don't have to deal with the bead. Most spin putters I know use a warlock, omega, pure, etc.

As for glide, I should have probably said something like "it isn't a glidey putter". You are right the glide is there, but when compared to something like an omega or challenger it isn't and thats because the p2 slows down sooner. The d-line have the most, but the kc definitely drops out sooner so for most people that have an unreliable putt they see it as a dumpy putter.

Funny, usually people say the Challenger doesn't glide well. =)

EDIT: On short throws.

For some of the reasons mentioned, and because I need to improve my putting in general, I stopped using my D P2's for main putting duties and started using them for drives and approaches. They are incredibly easy to gauge distances with when approaching because they drop out of the air fairly quick. There are a few holes at Rennaissance Park in Charlotte that require an accurate approach, or you fall 30' down into OB, or putt from a 10' ditch. I've found my soft, almost pro, D P2 has the perfect amount of glide and fade to drop exactly where I want it. For my main putter, I've been using Magics for their extra glide. I've used them for approaches from time to time (and sometimes still do if it's a turnover approach) but I tend to over shoot my target with them.

Looking forward to getting a KC P2 when they come into production!

I like the P2 for putting and have a couple lined up for main putting duties after my current kc aviars wear out. I'm a spin putter and don't really have a problem with the drop on them. The only recent putter I've tried that had too much drop for me are yetis.

Considering it's a Euro Tour CFR disc, I highly doubt it. =)

Discmania has a hot stamper in Finland, I wouldn't count on these being stamped in the States.

I agree with what jub said about the P2s at least early ones.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.
