JHern wrote:The best Wizard I ever threw was one that Dave gave to me when I visited his shop in St Louis. It was white, rigid, and very tacky in feel. He said it was an experimental blend. I thought he said that it was a fire resistant blend of plastic, or something exotic like that. Very unfortunately, I lost it driving it off tee the first time I ever played a particular dogleg right hole that had a steep canyon to the right of the basket that I didn't know about before throwing. Anyways, the disc was just slightly over-stable, enough to throw on big anhyzer flex shots, or to hold a hyzer at maximum power. Fantastic glide. It had superb grip and was very durable. It's over-stability at the lowest speeds made it very easy to range on approach shots.
Tell Dave that we want this Wizard. ^^^^

I asked Dave about that today and he said that's basically what the current G9i's are. The disc you got was probably a little more flexible (the G9i's are pretty firm), but it has the same components.
