Been playing Limbo on PSN, great game, kind of a platformer/puzzler.

I would like your X-Wasps, please.

This looks pretty sweet, quote taken from a different website:
Day Z Website

This is a free mod for Arma 2 (must also have Operation Arrowhead expansion) that probably captures the horror the zombie apocalypse in a game yet.

You start off in a random location within a Russian island. You have a pistol, some clips and some beans. From there, it's up to you. You'll search for supplies, making sure to keep yourself hydrated and fed. You'll need to move quietly, noise attracts zombies. You'll see another player in the distance looking at you.

This man might just be happy to see another human, knowing that power is in numbers....or he might just simply want to kill you for your can of beans.

And this is what is making this mod extremely popular right now, the social working between strangers and friends in a post apocalyptic environment. It's not really the zombies that you should fear, you know their motives (nomnom). It's the people you should fear. You don't know what they want and what they'll do to get it.

Oh and if you die, you are dead. You lose all the items you've collected from the start. And when you start again, you start in a random place, with a pistol, and a can of beans.

Just reading comments by players, many of them love telling stories of events that transpired during their 'life.'

Oh, and the average lifespan is under five hours at the moment.

A dangerous venture into a town costs the team. Shit hits the fan at 3:15.

A man explores a building, finding some friends, and an enemy...

Someone decided to check out this road flare that was on the road...

As a result of this mod (likely), Arma2: CO has shot up to #5 on Steam. No doubt fueled by people who want to play this mod.
Don't all ARMAs suffer from non existent waypoint finding and getting stuck on most objects and bullets not passing objects whose borders aren't the same as the graphics would let you believe?
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Diablo 3, tomorrow. Does anyone know how to extend the length of the day by like 4 hours? Because otherwise I'm not going to be able to find enough time to play it.

Yes, those are the games you need, but I'm not sure that they're free- are those links for the demos or full games?

You need the operation arrowhead too though, you get them both in the Combined Operations pack for $30 on steam. I picked it up the other day and played the bootcamp for the vanilla ARMA 2, kinda complicated. Gonna get the mod up and running sometime this week if I can pry myself away from D3 and studying for finals

I don't know if they're the full game or not... Arma 2 should be free right?

Arma 2: Free (A2F) redefines the free-to-play battlefield

via http://www.arma2.com/free

Or maybe Arma 2 and Arma 2: Free aren't the same thing?

I looked around and a few people on the youtube said you just need the Operation Arrowhead map and gave that link. Don't know if it's right or not... hoping some of you might know.

Maybe I should download Steam (that's free right?) and then search for Combined Operations? Maybe I should back up... this is on PC right? (can you guys tell I'm a hardcore gamer? haha)

You need both Arma 2 plus the expansion Operation Arrowhead. Then you go to the link and download the mod. Just get a steam account and get the combined operations pack like Jesse says. Just a warning though, Arma is pretty hardcore.

Nah it's full of stupidity like vanishing bullets out of your sniper rifle out to longer distances. Distances at which small caliber rifles from the opposition reach you just fine. And the list goes on. Try to lie down and shoot an enemy walking through a door into a building where you're at and chances are you'll see the bullet hit the door even though graphics wise it is 5 degrees off of the bullet flight path. Vehicles sticking to everything etc. You've been warned. Bugware or malware you decide.

When's the last time you played it, JR? I hear there have been a series of recent patches that have both improved gameplay and tweeked the zombie mod.
