Stafford Lake is a nice course, up in Marin county about 40 minutes north from the Golden Gate.

It is always good that people try different ways of making videos so that we could entice different people to the sport. Artsy people in this case are clearly the target.

Interesting. i find it funny that everything shitty that can happen, happened to him. (lost disc,2m up in tree, rollaway) he seemed like he was really attacking the course and running around like a wildman. I would have thought he would take his time in such a beautiful setting with nobody else around. cool video tho.

Yeah, there's an Italian deli up the road from there, my wife and I like to pick up some nice sandwiches, play the course at our leisure, and have a picnic or two along the way. It's always a very satisfying and relaxing day at Stafford Lake.

If you're playing multiple rounds at Stafford Lake, all day long, you'll need at least 2 meals. Also, playing a course with as much altitude variation as Stafford Lake, we find it's better to take small bites and let food digest slowly instead of inhaling a huge sandwich and having a big lump in your gut. At that course, we like to picnic at tee 8 (under the big tree, great spot). Sometimes when we play Stafford Lake, we'll try to play Napa Skyline Wilderness in the morning, which is another great hike of a course. We stop for wine tasting in Sonoma, between the courses, and maybe drag a bottle with us on our round at Stafford Lake. We've also applied the multi-picnic concept when playing multiple rounds at other big courses like Zephyr Cove (Tahoe), Lake Casitas (Ventura), etc..
