Ultra was great! The sets we saw most of:
Mord Fustang (my favorite performance of the weekend)
Sander Van Doorn (second favorite)
Camo & Krooked (excellent)
Stanton Warriors
Metronomy (I was ambivalent but my girlfriend really liked it)
Little Dragon (boring)
Digitalism
Other notables that we were there for part of:
Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate (both solid but too many slow parts)
Nobody Beats the Drum (saw about half the set, wish we had stayed for all of it but there were some other things we wanted to check out)
Kaskade, Justice (both ok but a lot of breaks and with it being on the main stage we were so for back that the effect wasn't great)
Madeon, Wolfgang Gartner, Pendulum, Dada Life, Porter Robinson - Only saw bits of each because the stage they were on was garbage. Maybe close to the stage it was better (but it was absolutely packed for all the above artists so it wasn't feasible to get close) but the sound quality was awful. You couldn't hear much besides the bass and what you could hear sounded like crap and was hard to make out. It was a real shame
We saw a bunch of other stuff in small doses but of course it's hard to see even a fraction of what went on. Only performance that in hindsight I really wished we had seen was Gareth Emery, I downloaded his full set later and it was very good. We were actually gone by then because we were really hungry and pretty tired. As for the stuff on Youtube I was really happy to see how many full sets are available. You can hear (and download) the full sets for every artist that played on the A State of Trance stage (Youtube channel Wecomefortrance, actually has the sets for all the other ASOT events too) and it looks like most or all of the main stage performances are up too. I really wish the Live Stage performances were up because I would love to get my hands on Mord Fustang's.
My favorite stage was
this one, it was one of the smaller ones but had great sound and the light show was badass.
