EOTO with the new lotus flower stage set-up April 3rd @ the Canopy Club. Going to absolutely fucking rage it.

eoto rocks the house everytime!! the canopy club is one of my fave winter venues!! saw umphrey's mcgee in feb there....eoto will be on the peoria riverfront sometime soon...and umphrey's mcgee back in town july 5th!!! can not wait for some um rawk!!

russian circles and spirit of the stairs at the riot room 07/03. i love all three of those things. the riot room is an amazing dive beer emporium. it has a giant circle bar with 52 beers on tap and 32 more varieties in cans and bottles.

i was at the metro watching a friend's band play. james iha happened to be there to sign a pop band called "office" to his label. iha looked like he just came from a maury povich/ jerry springer "street whore or glam tranny" show.

Sorry to go against the stream by retroactively mentioning seeing a concert during a beer festival in Tallinn, Estonia. Alphaville. Terrible bass boost made most lyrics hard to hear where i was at but hey good beer so no worries

I love Russian Circles along with a few other post rock bands (a very underrated genre of music IMO.) I saw Isis on their last tour a couple years ago and Red Sparowes two weeks before that. I met BC Meyer (who plays in both bands) after the Red Sparowes gig. Super chill guy. Anyway, recently I've seen:

yeah so a couple of my buddies ran into her on several occasions at a restaurant she liked around here. one of these guys is the biggest pumpkin fan ever. he kept it in his pants though. the other guy... he's a dreamy firefighter and she tried to talk him into some kinda sex party with his gf. he kept it in his pants as well. that was a pretty rough time for her, i think the farm is good times for d'arcy. we'll always have her 90s nipples to look back on.

just yesterday dude busts into my office.. HAY THE ORIGINAL PUMPKINS ARE PLAYING!! go online, see a girl, a kid, and a mildly asian-looking guy. in his defense, the only time he saw SP they walked off after 4 songs.
