Trying a little more discmania now

Wanted to give an update on the bag now that fall is coming along and I'm making some substitutions because I really don't like losing discs I love.

Putters:
2 KC Aviars

Putter (drivers)
DP2
SP2
Flippy P1

Midranges:
2x CMD2's
1x beaten PMD2 (in place of my flippy 11x roc)
1x DX Roc (want to break it in for the winter)

Fairway Drivers:
1x Blue STD (gummy and low PLH)
2x PPD (both freshies so I can start working them in)
1x CPD more overstable

Distance Drivers:
2x PPD2 (one new and stable one has gotten some seasoning)
1x CDD2 (easier long range shots)
aaaand soon to arrive at my door a fresh CDD for those overstable mable shots

Just a quick review on the C-DD.

So I took out the Teedevil as I am really making an attempt to be a Discmania guy. The C-DD has come into its place.

While this disc is not a Teedevil replacement in the slightest (the Teedevil being a less stable destroyer with destroyer fade), the distance it covers is almost the same. The DD gives me several advantages over the Teedevil that I am liking at the moment.

It offers better wind control. I really don't worry about this disc fliping in the wind while the Teedevil did so from time to time.
Rim fits better in my hand.
The wraithlike feel of this disc is very comfortable (grip, also see above).

What it lacks for me
It doesn't go quite as far, close but not quite there (when it seasons I will see a distance increase)
Glide... isn't its strong point.

Bottom Line - This is a point and shoot disc. Pick a spot you want it to land, throw it really hard, and it will fly and then drop out of the sky on that location. Skips much less than a bigger rimmed driver which is convenient for how this thing likes to drop at the end. Almost like a distance driver version of the rhyno haha.

2 Super Stingrays (just got them, one 180g and one 174g) - excited to see how they fly... I anticipate quite a bit of overlap here with the seasoned MD2s.

3 PDs (one 1st run s line, one fresh flat top C line, one beaten up C line + mold)

The Stingrays are in between the MD2 and a trashed KC Roc so lots of overlap.

I didn't think the Stingray's were similar to my flippy rocs. I got a lot of Comet similarities out of them (which makes my day because I adoooored the Comet when I threw them).

I'm going to experiment really quickly on rocs/super stingrays as a combo and see if it had that magical Roc/Comet combo juice I used to love.

Super Stings are more HSS than beat Rocs but not by so much that they wouldn't overlap and because there is more HSS in the Stinger it ain't that far off of the KC Roc falling in between those two. What i like about the Super Stingray is that it competes with the Comet and the Fuse being more tolerant to user error than either.

Super-Rays are great discs, but I found too much overlap with my beat C MD2. I'm still throwing a Gator/MD2 combo - CFR Gator, C MD2, 2x D MD2's

Let me know if you want to throw some more options into your midrange mix. I'm around until the 21st.
