What do you throw for max distance? And why?

Please include disc type, weight, and type of plastic

ESP nuke 167-169. It's the fastest disc I have found.

171 E-Samurai that has a little bit of wear on it.
If the object of disc golf were to hit trees, I'd be 1100 rated.

C-TD, 175

I don't throw for pure distance much if at all, but the C-TD really is an easy disc for me to put out pretty far without having to throw hard.

It is a close race between BLizzard Boss 138 annied, Nuke ESP 163 hyzer flipped and 150 Zero G Quasar hyzer flipped and depends on the line. I haven't carried the Nukes this year even though they don't lose out to the Boss in reality distance wise and Quasars for different lines to the Boss. I expect getting a lighter Quasar would improve max D because average D has gone up beyond that of the other discs and the s-curves aren't much shorter. And i think most experienced players agree with me on preferring discs that don't change angles abruptly. The Quasar is the best disc for that. Having an edge on the best most OS Kings. And the Boss adds variety in fading fairly abruptly and hard.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Z or X nuke... but only if I have a lot of room to work with. Otherwise I use a Z force for most of my distance shots.

My longest disc by far is a Bliz Wraith 152g, but it's so hard to control that I don't carry it in my bag.

In my bag the longest disc is a slightly beaten GL Flow 169g, Fast enough for me, crazy glide. Throwing it on low lines it's pretty straight, giving it some height it's good for anhyzer lines or straight lines with a predictable fade in the end. Good for smooth FH, too.

I know there are better discs for max d, but just like victorb I rarely throw for pure distance when playing disc golf.

171 Jacksonville Open VIP King-It is the most stable King that I have thrown (most flip never to flex out). It needs some room left to right and some height to get that D though.

How's the P-PD as a distance driver? I seem to have trouble with anything wide rimmed and can't seem to kick that, so I'm thinking of switching to something completely different for max D.

I'm getting the most D with a seasoned 168 Star Valk. I found a good domey one. I would imagine a good P PD would be similar once it's beat in a little. The problem is finding a good run of P-line.

On the other hand I have bad experiences with max d discs failing when they shouldn't, maybe I should just stick to controlled distance if the field isn't super open.
