Mine would be the Blizzard Krait. For a sub 400 thrower I really like its easy distance and stable flight. Doesnt take wind at all so it has to have the right conditions. Great for throwing up steep hills too, great glide. Field testing proves consistent 20-30 feet longer over other distance drivers downwind.

Haven't thrown too many of the newest releases, but from what I have tossed the Blizz Boss probably takes the cake, I have one from the first run that is beat to flippy and a spankin new wiggins one in the bag and they both do the job for me quite well. Being able to throw a lazy 75% effort drive and still get out close to my max D has really done wonders for my consistency

Zero G Quasar true easy distance and way slower angle changes than any other max D disc i've seen. King Cobra and Super Stingray next.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I second the Super Stingray. I have one in max weight (180g) and I love it. It goes straight with good glide. Makes a great putter too.

I was throwing the FDs last year, but the 2012 disc for me is that.

Opto Pure. So nice and straight at a broad range of speeds.

Didn't the tester Opto Pures arrive to retailers in December 2011? It is a miss disc at times varying how it pushes through initial angle at higher power. So it ain't that great overall for each situation than i thought initially. So i have a hard time deciding where i put it vs the KC and SS. Below them probably because winds are an issue too and those behave more consistently at different power levels. I have not bagged it permanently but am in testing stage still. If i can make it behave or throw only shorter shots it might be bagged. Because when i'm tired my arm stops working normally and the Sole i use for grip due to slick fingers starts to stick in my fingers and flips 4-5 degrees which is too much for local tunnels. I don't recall if the Sole was released last year but when i'm good it is a better disc overall. Together they are great although past the no flip for me Pure distance the Sole sucks on a poor day. And i'm not sure if i ever get to good enough shape to have weaker playing tired days. YMMV.

Easily the Jackal. Primarily because I don't try new discs very often at all, but also because it's kickass and the easiest throwing control driver I have ever used.

A tough one, the Mercy, Boatman and FD are all serious contenders.
I'll go with the one I have in my bag, which is the FD.
