Arm Alignment

I am new to the sport and things are starting to click for me, but a few questions still linger. One thing that I haven't seen covered on the forum is the height of the elbow in relation to the shoulder. Is it because the elbow height isn't important? I've tried throwing with my elbow at the same level as my shoulder and I seem to get more distance, but I'm not entirely sure if it's unrelated. Maybe I happen to be doing something else correctly in that moment that I've missed before, which is not unlikely. Hit me with some knowledge.

Rather than look at the heights it is more important to get the discs flying level that is front as high as the rear. Holding the arm as high as the shoulders usually gets the arm muscles tighter slowing down the throw. A lower pull height loosens up the arm. Waist high makes it more difficult to push the front down.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.
