Truth.
You guys just have sentimental "Young Arthur who came up as a starter, sucked, moved to the bullpen and went 19-4 for the '96-'97 O's playoff teams" memories.

Agreed. Many a night I was cussing at tv, wishing for a trade. The other side of the diamond has been kind to him though, and he has really been a solid contributor as of late.

O's tied for first in September. I'm really glad nobody bet me that back in April, I would have just lost a wad of cash.

I know I was on the Ducky bandwagon when they announced the new uni's, but those white-front caps look hideous when they wear those black jerseys. Or maybe it's just that the black jerseys are hideous. Either way, I like the road caps better.
Yanks/Rays/A's on tap. Fun stuff.

It's too bad that Wild Bill is dead. Drunk rednecks leading cheers on the dugout is kinda an Orioles tradition.

Jim Palmer said they let him up on the dugouts in '79 because he drew attention to the team. It was October, the O's were in the World Series and the lead story on the sports page was whether Bert Jones shoulder was healthy enough for him to play. It was a Colts town; the Orioles were a distant #2.

NOOOOOOOO! Loosing 'kakes right now is absolutely terrible. While I don't think CC did it on purpose, I wouldn't mind seeing Britton toss one high and tight to Jeter or Tex today. Speaking of Tex, I think he would have been safe on that game ending play last night if he didn't slide into first like a noob.
Buck Showalter's post game interview was touching. He is an amazing GM and NY was foolish to get rid of him when they did.

Terrible call but that's what you get for sliding into first...
