russian circles and spirit of the stairs at the riot room 07/03. i love all three of those things. the riot room is an amazing dive beer emporium. it has a giant circle bar with 52 beers on tap and 32 more varieties in cans and bottles.

i might go to buzz under the stars. i love garbage. fun is annoying. every time i hear silversun pickups i think of this phone call.

poor d'arcy, she was so awesome. it makes me sad to hear about her now. being bullied by billy corgan's god like ego + drugs = you're going to be fucked up

i was at the metro watching a friend's band play. james iha happened to be there to sign a pop band called "office" to his label. iha looked like he just came from a maury povich/ jerry springer "street whore or glam tranny" show.

Sorry to go against the stream by retroactively mentioning seeing a concert during a beer festival in Tallinn, Estonia. Alphaville. Terrible bass boost made most lyrics hard to hear where i was at but hey good beer so no worries :-D
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I love Russian Circles along with a few other post rock bands (a very underrated genre of music IMO.) I saw Isis on their last tour a couple years ago and Red Sparowes two weeks before that. I met BC Meyer (who plays in both bands) after the Red Sparowes gig. Super chill guy. Anyway, recently I've seen:
Phish Jun 28-29th @ Deer Creek,Noblesville, IL Phish is back to form...
Furthur Jul 17th @ Charter One, Chicago The boys sound great with John Kadlecik...
311/Slightly Stoopid/Aggrolites @ White River, Indianapolis Not enough pre blue album 311 but a good show nonetheless...Karl Denson on saxaphone in Slightly Stoopid was super cool...
I'm going to see:
Bassnectar Oct 4th in Bloomington, IL Bassnectar always rocks the house...
Leftover Salmon Oct 18th @ Canopy Club, Urbana, IL They still bring the heat...
Conspirator w/ Boombox and others Nov 4th @ Canopy Club Conspirator is killing it right now...
Big Gigantic Nov 25th @ Canopy Club They just keep getting better....
EOTO Nov 29th in Lafayette, IN Love these guys so much... SCI family baby...

necro'd... wow that was rough to listen to.
yeah so a couple of my buddies ran into her on several occasions at a restaurant she liked around here. one of these guys is the biggest pumpkin fan ever. he kept it in his pants though. the other guy... he's a dreamy firefighter and she tried to talk him into some kinda sex party with his gf. he kept it in his pants as well. that was a pretty rough time for her, i think the farm is good times for d'arcy. we'll always have her 90s nipples to look back on.

just yesterday dude busts into my office.. HAY THE ORIGINAL PUMPKINS ARE PLAYING!! go online, see a girl, a kid, and a mildly asian-looking guy. in his defense, the only time he saw SP they walked off after 4 songs.

we do. adore is an amazing album. the farm keeps her from getting busted trying to by crack in the city, but she still gets in trouble on the farm... http://stereogum.com/636782/darcys-wild ... jail/news/
