So, I sent one of the disc golf review dx rocs to my friend cause i love him and he instrduced me to the sport and is currently broke but loves rocs... He tells me someone picked it today at reedy creek. I get a call around 12:30 am from some drunk peabrain saying "you're never getting your disc back and saying I got f.ed hahahaha". This is actually pretty interesting considering my friend is a black belt in taekwondo and saw him plus i have his phone number... I warned him to stay away from reedy because my friend looses his temper pretty quickly, he just laughed and asked how much I would give for the disc. I soooo hope he shows up, he thinks im kidding but my frriend is a maniac and will get revenge if he sees him. It may sound harsh but this sort of thing is really uncalled for.

Have any of you ever had this type of situation?

I should precise that i live 400 miles from charlotte so i have no control over my friend's behavior. However i wouldn't hold it against him if he acted upon impulse. I never met a disc golfer so rude and opportunistic ever before. Lol he thinks the disc is worth bank. Self-centered idiots will kill disc golf if it gets too popular imo.

I should also precise that he stole the disc. He did not find it randomly, he was playing right behind my friend on hole 1. Man, plastic is nothing to get fussed over but calling me and insulting me trying to have a laugh with his buddy is another thing.

I really only mentioned martial arts to scare the kid. He admitted that whenever he found a disc with a number, he prank calls and insults the guy for the lulz... Didn't bother star 69. Obviously this is not the way most people expect people who play disc golf to act. Maybe ball golf (gentlemen only ladies forbidden) but from my experience not disc golf. Now maybe no one cares, but come on have you ever come accross such a tool on the course?? I dunno maybe it's because it's near uncc and a ton of people play there but unless im being read by lurkers who see noob (I am a newb though, only 1 year playing) and assume whatever i say is pointless, I really don't see why I came accross badly simply because I care about making a note of unsportsman like conduct. I've only played for a year and I have found at least 5 discs which I returnsed even if it was an inconvinience, admitedly, it isn't true kindness as Kant would put it since I tell myself that if I don't, I'll play like shyte but regardless, every one is happy. Coincidentaly I found a disc today and already am planning to meet the person to return it.
