Schusterick Bag?

Postby Crosseyed0811 » Mon Oct 08, 2012 10:48 am

Anyone at the USDGC this year can tell me what the bag Schusterick was using is? One of the coolest backpack bags I've ever seen, almost enough to make me finally want a backpack bag.

For those who didn't see it, rather than the discs all laying horizontally in the bottom of the bag (like every other bag in the market) the discs went in individual slots up the back part of the bag. Really cool design and I'm just curious enough to get a closer look.

Hmm, just looked up the Simian, looks similar, but the Simian looks much more "clunky" in design than what I saw Schusterick carrying (well it was actually his girlfriend doing most of the carrying)

It's definitely not a simian unless it is a new prototype. Who was the guy on here recently posting about a new bag built to help your back out a bunch since it was designed by physical therapists?

I'm trying to find pics of it, but haven't found any good ones, just a few side shots of his GF carrying it. I think I overheard it was something new, but I figured someone here would have heard something about it already. You guys are usually pretty quick on things :P

That's a side shot of him carrying it, not sure if you can see it or not...

I think it has a big hyzer bag logo on it. Saw it on one of the videos

That sounds like that may have been what I heard. New prototype? They don't list any backpack style bags on their site.

Edit: I think we've found a winner, from their facebook page "Getting geared up for the United States Women's Disc Golf Championships right here is Big Hyzer's backyard, Huntsville, AL. We will have a booth set up with bags and gear for sale. Also, you can take a sneak peek at our new backpack bag coming out in the next few months. ;-)"

I think that's just how the bag is. Or maybe he rigged it up. or maybe it was a prototype.

since we're talking about it, what is everyone's thoughts on bags with built-in seating?

Isn't he sponsored by UB Disc Golf? I seem to remember them having a bag in the works, although I didn't see anything with a quick look around their website.

Fairly certain its the new backpack bag spoken of by Big Hyzer Bags... I think this mystery is solved.. Looks like a sweet bag, can't wait to see how much they want to sell them for and such.

The bag that was designed by a doctor of physical therapy and avid disc gilfer is made by physical flight. Just picked up Michael Johansen of team discraft and Josh Childs of team innova. As well as one of the top four in the USDGC's.
