I will be interested to hear what you think of the Dominator. I wasn't really impressed by it.

Not Dave but here goes: Not really different to CFR C Katana with some breaking in and a hair more fade. Old hat and fine as a jack of all trades and the master of none. It is a competent disc nothing cool though and other discs work better.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I like it, but but don't love it. It's got a little turn and a little more fade. Not to glidey, but really fast. Very good for low, long point and shoot shots.

Wizards are taking over my bag. I have 4 in there now with one champ rhyno. Still deciding between a magic and a beat proto wizard.

I really like the magic for what I am guessing you are trying to fill.

I'd go with a magic just because breaking or losing a proto wizard would be man-tears inducing.

I keep one magic around, it's my proto magic and is beat to snot. It can do some magical routes on short drives and approaches.

These new medium magics have almost no turn or fade, even on harder throws.

I've got plenty of recent run wizards that fly like that. They were amazingly straight right out of the box. The odd thing is, they haven't lost any stability and they have a full season of wear on them. I really like the old gritty textured soft and super soft magics. They were straight'ish out of the box and broke in to sweet short turn over approach disc's.

On a different note, are you still chucking the dominator around?

Only wizards I have now are a stack of whites like I got from you and some g9i and they are all pretty over stable.

And I an still liking (not loving) my dominator

Actually, yes they do. I have two 172's and two 173's that I flip flop between for putting duties. I swapped them out for a while when I was putting with those Hunter Orange run of Wizards. I have since gone back to putting with them again. And have sub'ed in an off white/pink wizard in their place. It too is surprisingly straight for a new wizard. A buddy of mine just gave me a medium 175 from about 6 years ago. Might put it in the bag tomorrow and throw some drives with it. It feels about like the old china plate firms.
