Anyone Ever Used ABC, Legacy, Lightning, or Westside Discs?

Postby abarker » Tue Nov 20, 2012 12:10 pm

I'm working on putting together a website for Infinite Discs. We want reviews from actual disc golfers of all the golf discs on the market.

We've had some great reviews submitted for Discraft, Innova, Latitude, MVP, and Vibram, but nothing for ABC, Legacy, Lightning, and Westside.

Anyone actually played with discs by these manufacturers?

If you have, please go to one of these pages to find the discs you've used:

http://infinitediscs.com/category/abc/
http://infinitediscs.com/category/legacy/
http://infinitediscs.com/category/lightning-discs/
http://infinitediscs.com/category/westside/

And rate the discs you've played with between 1 and 5 stars to help our visitors out. We're giving out Free Discs to people who review these lesser known discs.

Thanks!

My brother-in-law has a few ABC discs. I have a King (in VIP Air and Tournament) but I haven't thrown it enough to rate it yet.

Where did you guys get the flight ratings for the non-Innova discs? I'm thinking Discraft, but also the more obscure manufacturers like Ching, Lightning, or Skyquest?

legacy rampage, speed 14.... flight rating for this compared to 13 speed rating is accurate. it gets there FAST. since this disc was developed with cooperation from innova, i believe the flight rating is true to form at least for this disc.

They're mostly just educated guesses. We spent days comparing Innova discs with discs of other manufacturers. A discs speed rating is almost always directly rated to its rim width, so that one was easy. The hard one to figure out was "glide." For the most part we just said the glide of unspecified discs was 5. They're guidelines. If Innova were to rate Discraft discs, they might come up with different numbers.

Things progress over time so i think 14 is the new 11 on guitar pre amps or amps. So the answer to our question is _it_ goes to eleven err 14.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

These guys just deleted two of my reviews because I gave an unfavorable stance on one of their high-dollar products. No profanity or crossing the line of any kind, so it's kind of too bad they did so. Know that they are weeding out the negative reviews on some, if not all of their products. I was really starting to like infinitediscs.com too.
