MDR vs Ben Callaway @ West Lake DGC

Postby BLURR » Sun Dec 16, 2012 7:29 am

Here is a video of two big bombers playing a round at West Lake DGC. West Lake is an incrediblity tough course. MDR and Ben are both big distance throwers. MDR won the distance competition for Am's at the 2004 Worlds. Ben won the USADGC a couple of years back. I've seen both these guys throw 600+.

This is just a promo video put together by a Quad City player. MDR is looking to try and do a few of these videos throughout 2013. Should be fun to watch.

If the object of disc golf were to hit trees, I'd be 1100 rated.

I couldn't afford to play that course and i've donated 77 discs to elementary schools this year. I think you'd feel playing that course the next day with so long holes and so much ripping needed. Nice video thanks for sharing.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

It's a par 89 course with 24 holes. It's brutal, both physically and mentally. I typically lose two discs a round out there. Mostly because of the water. My best score is 88. I typically shoot around 95...

I love that course so much. I would love to shoot par on it.
