I think I have some sparkle Patriots on the way, I'm going to throw one unless they are flx soft.

They are definitely not flx soft...stiff but tacky.

I forgot I only ordered 1 cause I'm broke. I got a gold 173 Patriot in the mail today with a gold stamp and when I took it out of the envelope I actually said "wow". I'm not a collector but I'm going to hang on to this and not throw it. Legacy has super fast service, I paid Valencia Steve on Tuesday morning and got the disc today. I liked the message from Steve included with the disc and hope they do contact me on future releases.

Threw my Sparkle Pinnacle Patriots today. They were very similar to the Pinnacle Rivals with only the minor differences:

1) Slightly more turn, but not drastic and definitely not flipping over. It can only be best described as what a seasoned Pinnacle Rival would be like (no idea about the Icon Rival).

2) A little more fade at the end of the flight than the Rival. Despite having a little more fade than the Rival, it still lands flat.

3) The Patriot has a tad more glide, so on great throws by both of them, the Patriot was able to squeeze out about 10 more feet.

4) in the open field the end results were almost identical. I will test it tomorrow when I play a more wooded course, but I would trust the Rival more for tighter shots where I need distance but the Patriot more so for control shots.

Both discs sound good. I read on DGCR that the sparkle Pinnacle Patriots were the most stable. Are your Rivals sparkle too?

Did they make sparkle Rivals? I know they're now producing them in pinnacle and icon plastic, I think we're going to get one of each in the ace run. If the icon beats into a good turning disc, this would probably make for a great pair in the bag.

Nope. They ran them in clear pinnacle

These bad boys are nothing revolutionary but are a very solid offering from legacy and could easily become a workhorse driver for many.

The Rivals at the Ace Run will be clear and pearly Pinnacle. Icon Rivals are not out yet.
