Lookin for a meathook! Any suggestions?

Hey DGR,

I recently have noticed a big gap in bag when it comes to those hard-fading, spike hyzer, 30 mph headwind, or retarded skip type shots. Up until now I have been using either Wraiths or Destroyers but they don't seem to do the job anymore (probably a combination of throwing harder now and beating up the discs a bit). So I'm wondering where a good place to start would be? There are so many choices. Thinking about an Xcaliber, Firebird, or possibly xXx, but I really have no idea. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated! I live in a windy climate and I am about a 350 foot thrower. Thank you

mega OS in a good way? or would I have trouble keeping it flat for more than 20 feet? and what are you throwing for these shots?

yeah predator was on my mind too but didn't mention. Along with ape, max, monster, PD2, force, nuke OS. I haven't ever thrown any of these molds, so thanks for the responses they will probably save me 100 bucks

won't stay flat past 20 feet for me. I mainly throw the xXx OH and for weird shots. It maxes out about 300 for me. but it is tilted hyzer the whole way. I've been using the Villain for the long distance stuff.

For short range major overstable I think the Gateway Demon is the best. Last fall we had some 40 mph winds so I went out in the back yard to make sure it was OS enough, straight into a 40 mph wind a 200 ' hyzer was no problem.
The HPP Blaze by Gateway is also very overstable and is midrange distance for most people.
The Pig is a great short range overstable disc by Innova but I think people hate the r-pro plastic.

Nuke OS is the most overstable thing I have thrown. Reminded me of my old Speed Demons in Discraft Z plastic.

Zone's bit faster than your average putters, think of a drone in putter form.

Opto Villain would work real well in that slot. I like the Innova Gator for short range OS duties.
