Legacy Ghosts, what do you think of them ?

How well do the Icon Ghosts take tree hits and such?
I'll keep you posted how the Excell Ghosts break in, I think the Gravity Ghosts would break in pretty fast.

By price point Excel is a lower grade plastic than Gravity, and by assumption would it not break in the fastest?

As for Icons, the only thing I have seen has been scuffing. The whites start to turn yellow, like they are being stained by rubbing up against something yellow (this is happening in both my Ghosts and Clutches).

All of the Excell plastic I have feels like nice stiff DX plastic and the Gravity plastic I felt was much softer like 5x JK Aviars so I thought the Gravity would break in more quickly.
The Icons sound like they hold up well.

I just ordered an Icon Ghost, since the numbers on Inbounds suggest that the Ghost is similar to the Roc. I was hoping it's more like the Rancho Roc than the San Marino...I guess I'll post my results after I get it.

I'm really sick of Innova and their hard-to-find, special-edition-costs-you-a-fortune-to-buy BS, and Legacy seems to be making some quality discs in quality plactic. They've got my business. The two Rampages I own (Pinnacle edition) are kicking my Star destroyers butts for long range flex shots. I ordered an Icon Cannon as well. I'm hoping it will Hyzer flip further than my beat Destroyers as well. (From what I've read it should do)

For me the Ghosts in Excel plastic are very dx Rancho like but maybe a hair faster. I was throwing them on the courses on the same holes and on the same lines I was throwing Rocs. When thrown flat in the 300'-325' range they stay flat and have a moderate fade at the end. The two Icon Ghosts I have are pretty stiff and don't have much grip in the cold but they felt great yesterday when it was 65 degrees out. The Icons are pretty beefy and have a harder fade that starts earlier much like premium plastic Ranchos do for me.

picked up a icon ghost. white 180 man this disc likes to be flicked. I was real beef for my back hand but has a sweet s curve on my fh. has alot of glide for a beefy disc as well.

My ghosts got a HEAVY workout today. They are so nice. Can't wait until one beats in to lose some LSS

I've still got my broken in Ranchos in the bag for now. If the Excel Ghosts take as long to beat in as good Ranchos it will take some time to rotate the Rocs out. I haven't seen any flat Ghosts but I figure they would be less stable.

Dave is right on with this, I shouldn't be commenting on new Ranchos because I have always bought up all the preseasoned Ranchos I could find. The newest Ranchos I would carry were lightly seasoned. I'm really liking the Excel Ghosts but I will probably throw in a premium plastic Ghost for more hss and more fade.

Truth. Threw my purple 180g Excel Ghost today and it was awesome. Like a sweet stable DX Roc.

FYI: Some people have done some boiling water dome flattening of Icon Ghosts, and report that they fly exactly like the Roc3 afterwards...
