A lot of "running" doctors recommend new balance shoes because of this. I like the minimus 80 for trail running. Thinking about using them for dg this season as well.
Damn i might need to try some then or at least find a store where i can touch the sole to see for myself. The Vivos are great on dirt and grass but not so much on concrete and rocky natural tees on my home course.
I'm SOL so far going as slowly as dgdave when pushing for D which is why i wear shoe soles running pell mell head over feet when going as far as i can. I need to hit weights for a long time to get any real D with just x steps. Too bad i cannot get any real D running as fast as i can either

Thinking back i am not even sure what my x step only distance record is. The only non run up throw so far i remember was one of the not many pivot hop step attempts that was probably 380-390'.
Maybe we found the Sasquatch and that should be the custom rank for keltik

Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.
