I have been playing for about 4 months now and am finally starting to get it down I think. I currently throw an xl about 350-375' it's my most consistent driver almost exactly like a long range buzzz for me. I'm looking for a little but more understable I want one that will fall to the left at the end. I used to throw a nukess but now it just hooks right big time. I'd like to stick with discraft what would y'all advise? I was thinking either a force or regular nuke

I had to ask because you said you wanted a disc that is more understable than an XL and that falls to the left so I thought you were either RHFH or LHBH. You want a disc more overstable than an XL from what you are saying. and you want discraft.

easy elite X Avenger. elite Z Avengers are almost Predator stable but the X model is a good compromise and an all-around good disc.

I feel like I'm not good enough yet for sub z plastic. I hit trees on occasion.

don't worry about that. everyone hits trees. and tree whacks make the X Avenger fly better.

Ya, but when I hit them I normally got them pretty square. I've had a couple discs get chunks taken out. Also a stratus of mine literally cave in on itself.

While the X Avenger is not the sturdiest of discs it is pretty good for medium grade plastic. Otherwise SOLF would have been the answer had there not been the Discraft requirement. Sure it is faster and longer but it powers down well and is impressively durable for medium grade plastic that makes you think it's primo plastic. Seriously i've had way less durable primo plastic discs than the SOLF.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Dude try a lighter nuke. Maybe an x nuke 165 you will probably love it if your dumping the ss. Also a flash or maybe even a surge might be good.

But if I were you try a nuke. You may hit 400'.

Unless you are a sponsored pro, don't look at discs based on brand alone. Lots of good discs out there by lots of good mfrs. Mfr. should NEVER be a criteria for selecting a disc. That said...

First of all, 350-375' with an XL is awesome for only 4 months! I'm 6'4" and have relatively large hands and wide rimmed nukes aren't as consistant for me mainly due to the big grip. If you're currently throwing a speed 6/7 XL a speed 13 nuke wouldn't be my next disc recommendation. Why only discraft?

I'd listen to keltik, he throws farrr.
