I am not at all surprised that he likes the Saints because his Innova bag was set up around the Eagles and the Saint is the closest disc to the Eagle in the Latitude line up.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I thought Saints were faster and less stable than eagle-xs, no?

Saints are like faster longer Eagle Ls roughly and since Eagle Xs break in they become understable eventually and flip at least as much as the Saints. Dave carried a lot of Eagles.
