Wildcat Elite Z RIP.....Need a comparable disc

Postby ranger » Sat Jun 01, 2013 2:23 pm

I fell in love with my wildcat elite z but it now resides in the middle of a deep pond.

What should I pick up that would be a comparable disc? The wildcat was just easy for me to control. It wasn't an ultra long range disc for me but I really liked how much control I had with a backhand or a flick.

Thanks

I really like the two I have in X. If you don't bang trees with them, they stay fairly stable. Pro Orc or Champion Beast would be close. Maybe Viking.

trees might be hit

I'm not crazy about champ beasts or orcs anymore but maybe I could pull an old one out and give it a try. I guess I was the only one who like the z wildcat.

No throws with the Wildcats but if your Beast is old enough it is different from those that have been made since 2010. Beasts have changed three times and the current ones are so HSS that in calm weather i cannot make them flip at 400'. They do flip beyond that but it might very well be from my wrist rolling at full power.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I would own one if my Hastings carried them. Only available in X since I've been buying discs. If it were me, I'd try a Flash.

I have a 170g tie dyed Z wildcat that's unthrown 10/10. I'd be willing to part with it if it would help you out.

Threw a Northman yesterday. Really impressed. Like some kind of laser straight variation of SL/Beast.

If you decide to try the Flash, I recommend going with ESP. I've never had a Z Flash that impressed me but the ESP ones seem to be more consistent.
