The escapes go just as long if not longer and are easier to get there and line shape better.

Have you thrown a King? Just wondering how it stacks up next to the Rampage.

Haven't thrown a king, but I hear they are pretty flippy. My bagged rampage is the most overstable one I've thrown.

Another one for ya...how does the Escape stack up next to a seasoned S PD?

More glide for sure. On Distance shots, it fades later in the flight making for longer shots. It's like a S PD/P PD mash up

Any variants that could handle a little headwind?

I don't know how the Rampages are supposed to be like. I have an early one that broke in super fast to flippy. Uncontrollable for me with max distance attempts last year because it would either flip too much most of the time or if underpowered fade out early or get flat and fade out early and shortest. Just not that long unless i hit a very wide s-curve just right with proper height, flip, nose angle and full power. Success rate was too low because the disc is too finicky and i imagine it can only flip harder with more power to become even more a matter of luck. When i read how the discs flew for others i think mine behaved very differently and i've seen some vids of people throwing them and they appeared more like mine did when new and not flippy. The thing is that i only threw mine on a practice field without hitting anything hard and the disc changed radically in two sessions. No joy. Since they do not sell at the local shop they have a stack of the same bum batch sitting in there and i'm not about to waste more money and buying online is iffy always. Buying an iffy disc online... No thanks. Things could be different if a new one would stay like that for longer or break in only a little, mine became a roller in a couple of days (like what the...?).

So Dave is correct most Kings are rollers even worse than Rampage which funnily flew like my Cannon (both early and funky differing from the descriptions of others). Domey high PLH VIP Kings are a couple of degrees flipping thus way more HSS than my quickly broken in Rampage and Cannon but with way less power requirement and more distance so i'd hunt for those. Unless you find a good Rampage that does not dump fade and flip hard and that stays straighter for a long time. I hear they have been better since the early ones but that is the only thing i know about them. Test throwing would be nice. I don't know anyone that has them do you?
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I did. I bummed up my ACL and bone bruising, but I did toss it a couple times. It's just real straight. Pretty much holds whatever line you give it.

That said, I like the Pinnacle ghosts better. I traded the Gauge back to Steve Rico. I've also heard that the production runs will be different.

Sorry to hear about your knee.

Different like something that will replace your M4 or perhaps more understable?

I'm thinking M4. Understable, but not flippy. But that's not confirmed.
