Just started playing and I bought some discs that are probably a little above my skill level, or my skill level is really low. Things have improved since my footwork has gotten better, I just want to make sure I'm throwing something that will help me improve while learning fundamentals without frustrating me.
I'm just guessing, but I " think " I throw a driver around 250 ft when I actually throw it straight. I've actually just been practicing driving the putter just to get my form in shape.
I'd like to get a good mid range disc, not interested in drivers right now unless there is a very easy to throw one.
I'm sticking to Innova right now since it's available locally, but will venture to other brands in the future.
With that said, can you recommend a good set of disc, I plan on getting about 3 today if they have the recommendations in stock.
I have the following 3 disc, all Star Plastic.
Driver - Roadrunner
Mid Range - Mako
Putter - Aviar
Boss - no idea on plastic, got it free but won't throw it til I know what I'm doing.
Oh, I'm RHBH and tend to hook to the left more often than not.

Those three are a pretty good start. Leave the Boss alone for 3 years
Maybe add a Valkyrie or Teebird to go with the RR. A Roc or Shark to go with the Mako. I liked my Cobra as a mid for a while. If you want a turn over mid, the Stingray is pretty easily flipped. You could play the rest of your life with that Aviar.

Leopard is a pretty beginner friendly fairway driver.

250' driver distance? I'd stick with mids and putters for a while yet.
