i was wondering the same thing.
we actually recommend this chart for a lot of our local retailers and it has gotten to the point where there are many discs not on it- including the Whitler still

.
What's the word?

the chart has been updated with the newest discs not on it being the cro and 10m crossfire.
color charts have been printed and they have them in the store.
they are waiting for a black & white version to be done before it gets posted on the website.

It doens't appear the surge is on the chart. Also, does the color coding indicate anything in particular (i.e. wraith, SL, diablo, orc are all range 5 but have different colors).
edit: I found the surge.

looks like the color coding applies to the HSS of discs. I'm guessing that's to make it easier to compare similar discs to each other--if that's right, it's a very helpful touch. Thanks Blake!

I really like the simplicity of the last one, I think I'll recommend it to a friend of mine who is just starting.

Hey Mike -
The new discs for the chart are being thrown so we should have a new version soon.
Unfortunately when we switched our site to the new version we found out a whole lot of things got dropped off. We are working on getting it back on the site and I'll let everyone know it's back as soon as it gets there!
In the meantime, I can certainly email it to anyone who would like it. Just drop me a line at

The updated flight chart is completed and will be available on-line in a day or two (look for the 7/30/08 date on the bottom right hand side of the chart). The new chart contains ALL of the new discs!
