disc information

Was wondering if anyone knows of a site that has a history of each disc and when they were released?

no one really does... i almost started a disc golf timeline outlining the big break-throughs. if i remember, there was a DGWN or disc golf journal that had an "important disc events in development" thing that had like the top 10 most important design evolutions.

if you have any specific requests, i can pretty much be accurate within 1-2 years on just about everything.

e.g. original eagle/aero 1993, first aviar proto 1985, p-38(#2 hookshot) 1987, bead invented 1988 (cobra), first roc 1988, viper 1990, cyclone 1993, gazelle 1995, xl 1998, etc.

It's under "resources -> disc guide." I personally can't say how accurate they are, but they do have years listed for all of the discs that I'm guessing are probably right.

i gave it a quick glance and it appears to be accurate within a year or two... however, they don't really cover the historical importance of the discs... is quite thorough though
