I'm definitely partial to a CX2. Gloria Cubana Series R are amazing as well, as are any Arturo Fuentes.

Generally, I smoke Baccarrats and Acid Kuba Kubas.

what kind we talking about? my favorites are the black and sweet...i think thats what they're called.

my favorite cheap smokes are definitely black and milds though...either apple flavored or black cherry vanilla prince alberts.

Favorite will always be a nice Cuban Cohiba followed by a Dominican Cohiba. The serie R from La Gloria is definately up there.

1 Cohiba
2 Trinidad
3 Montecristo
4 Macanudo
5 is tough...The serie R or the robusto larga from El Rey Del Mundo

BTW, I can't afford any of these right now! hehe I'm doing almost exclusively Rolys (Puros Indios seconds).

When I order from the Internet, I smoke alot of JR Cigars alts and seconds.

I always keep a package of Backwoods in the car too...

I didn't like acid, but you guys are making me want to try them again. I actually don't like Puros Indios; rather, I don't really see them as a premium in the same class as a Macanudo or ERDM.

But, now I smoke their seconds...go figure. Anyone ever try Gurka?

I'm a big Acid fan myself

Postby Denver Discer » Fri May 12, 2006 11:09 am

I'm a big Acid fan as well, although they are not my favorite smoke. Favorite stick in the world is a Fuente Don Carlos #2 I love too many of them to make a top 5 list. I'm pretty partial to anything Rocky Patel makes. So Indian Tabac Cigars and Rocky Patel....having a brain fart...the line that has his name on it. Someone mention the Lars Tetan. This is a big problem I am having and that is finding the Lars Tetans. For anyone that doesn't know anything about them, a guy named Lars Tetan made cigars that were alot like the Acids and a company named Drew Estates came along and gave him a whole bunch of money for the rights to making the cigars, it went well for all of three months. They had a falling out and they cut their contract. Drew Estates started making Acid cigars which are alot LIKE the Lars Tetans, but just not as good IMO. Lars kept making cigars but on a very small scale and I want to find out where to buy them......any ideas?

Peace
Scott

Actually Denver, I've become quite a fan of the Rocky Patel stuff; I just recently tried it. Arturo Fuente is good, just not my favorite. I definately wouldn't turn one down.

I must re-try acids then; perhaps I made a hasty judgement. Darn, I just went to the tobacco shop on Monday.

The Rocky Patel that I've been smoking is the one without a label.

A guy I know is cuban, he gave me 2 Cohibas and a Montechristo, both rocked my fucking socks. I'm impartial to Avo Uvenzias (any) and Macanudos, along with backwoods on the go and my personal favorites... LaFlor Dominicana Culebras... Perfect for those 2 round days, come in with one cigar, get to smoke 3 delicious spirals of joy...

Always in the pocket:

I just recently got into cigars, and for awhile had only been smoking white owls, and phillies, cheap flavored ones. But me and a few of my buds tried Mac Portofinos, and they were so amazing, we couldn't believe what we had been missing. The other night me and my buddy smoked an Acid Kuba, and were amazed at the flavor of that one too. I enjoy premium cigars, it's just that they cost a little too much. If I'm discin' I'll usually throw down on some Phillie cigarillos or Swisher woodtips. Just my two cents, and I have a lot more cigars to experience.
