Hey guys ive taken you advice and im starting to throw backhand better. My question is after I throw backhand and my disc lands can I take several steps back to do my x- step or are you supposed to just stay there?

you just have to plant within 10 cm of your mark and on a line between your mark and the basket. you can start as far back as you want.

You can go back as far as you want as long as you're within 30 centimeters behind the marker when you actually release your disc. If I'm reading the rule book right.
