good ace, elements are one of the best discs to take a run at the chains.

I still havent gotten my first gateway ace (everything in my bag shorter than an avenger has been gateway for about 2 months) But I have hit ALOT of metal with wizards and element-x's

and have a couple 150'+ birds with my wizards.

i had some weird luck, my first ace was with the flash, second was a xs, third was a buzzz, fourth was a cyclone and fifth was a z glide...
when I hit the first three my bag was mostly innova, yet the discraft always seemed to want to go in the hole :?
Im definately not saying that discraft discs are better, it was definately just a string of coincidences. watch this now my bags mostly gateway I will hit a long one with a pred or avenger

I need to say stuff like that more often. I hit chains HARD today once with an avenger (375' over a pond about 30-45' downhill) and my pred (again about 30' downhill around 320' hudge knife hyzer, the disc probably traveled 370-400')

they didnt stick though, that was the first time I hit the chains at nearly 400', its wild you see it it looks like its going in, then it falls to the ground, it sits on the ground, then you hear chains. (feels like slow motion with sound traveling extra slow)

I enjoyed the hell out of it, believe me, I love drop in birdies and the sound of a disc hitting chains that hard.

but you cant help but have that little feeling that it could have stayed in

Never hit chains from the teepad. I've hit metal a couple times tho. the baskets we have here are NOT double chained. I've seen a few throws that would have been aces get spit out the other side. I know I was disappointed and I wasn't even the thrower. We are trying to get the inner chains assembled and installed, but that effort has been delayed untill the new course is finished.

Is it just me of do the Innova Discatchers have a blow through weakness? I've seen differantly designed tops on Innova's website. the baskets at our course do NOT look like those on the website. Ours must be older or something. I've seen discs hit the tops, and fall down THROUGH the chain suspension system into the basket. We've got a standing rule here: if it falls in on it's own, or during the process of other players putting out the hole it counts.

Blake didn't you have apost or something where ya outlined the "dead spots" on baskets?

Discatchers do have problems with blow throughs, ive had flat puts may their way through and hit the rim on the back and in or out from there. The worst is the single chains when you hit the pole and it bounces straight back out from there :-\
