sb is nearly identical to star. My tulsa orc I would be willing to bet was a test run of star plastic.
I believe any innova "special blend" is a blend of pro and champ/ce ect. They wont be champ durable, but wont beat like pro either, alot of durability can be the shape of the mold I believe also.

my Sb orcs are holding up well. trees, cement, fencing, nothing has really hurt it at all. good stuff that SB plastic. i find it more grippy than star plastic too.

the sb plastic was all from the same batch of resin.

some of the star plastic is similar, some of it is not. they vary a lot from run to run so there is no real uniform comparison.

star varies or sb varies?

Ive witnessed some variance in star plastics, but have thrown very little of it so I really cant say. My SB orc was great for me when I had it though, but im not sure I would like it much now.

I've got a USDGC SB Roc. It's hit plenty of trees and the ocassional pavement skip since I got it back in December, and it's held up just as good as any Champ discs.

I'd think a Champion Roc is made of Champion plastic. I think the 2005 SB Rocs were a similar blend, if not the same as star. If it has the Talon hotstamp then it's a 2006 Spectator Roc and out of the 2006 USDGC Rocs, the SB were Ontario while the Star were a Rancho variation as with champion/glow.
