What's the best USDGC DVD to buy?

Postby coogs » Mon Jul 10, 2006 12:05 pm

I like Winthrop's course, so that's why I'm asking about USDGCs.

Which DVD would show a good variety of shots (rollers, etc.), maybe an ace or two, and is of a somewhat solid production quality?

i can't say which one is the best... but i can warn you that the 'champions' DVD (which covers the 2004) is not that exciting to watch. really bad camera work (with really good cameras) and it seems like it's half innova/USDGC commercial... and half 'what does it take to be a champion' kind of instruction (be a good sport, be athletic, blah blah blah).

there is really only 1 usdgc dvd, the 2003.

in terms of VHS, the 2000 probably has the best variety of footage of different shots.

What about the Marshall Street DVD's. Does anyone know if they are any good?
Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.

The Marshall Street DVD's are by far the best disc golf footage/dvds I've found. I do like the 2005 better than the 2004; I think it is much cleaner and professional looking, as well as better commentary.

the 05 marshall street has higher quality footage... in terms of picture quality, etc...

the 04 marshall street has the best footage from a learning standpoint. footwork, follow through, disc flight, etc.
