imo, it's the best movie to have come out since 2000.

Another vote for Juno. Maybe not the best movie but up there.

I watched 30 Days of Night last night. It was pretty good. Kind of your standard vampire movie though.

Crazy you could still choose to legally murder it. :? Yeah, someone touch that one.

Anywhoooo,

I wasn't impressed with 30 days of night. The thought was good, but there were a lot of holes in the story line and very little explanation.

I want to see Juno, I have liked Michael Cera since arrested development, a great show if you have never seen it. As far as a teen movie goes, Superbad was great, that movie makes me crack up every time I watch it.

I've seen Juno 4x now and I love it each time. The sound track is killer! and the movie is fantastic. It's a must own for your DVD library.

Here's my take on the last few movies I've watched. There may be some spoilers, but nothing that won't ruin anything worth watching. ;)

Revolver - Imagine all the wannabe philosophy in The Matrix but without any of the kung fu. Then imagine that the end is just a plot twist that everyone figured out halfway through the movie. After watching this movie my wife came up with a new theory: Jason Statham + hair = bad.

Stardust - It was better than I expected. I wouldn't buy it but it was easy to watch, engaging and fun. It was like Pirates of the Carribean light.

Enchanted - read a description of the movie or watch a trailor. It's exactly what you'd expect after reading/seeing that. This could be good or bad depending on what you look for in movies.

I watched Wristcutters: A Love Story lately and it was really good. It's about people that commit suicide. These people go to a bland world, where every day is the same, and the main character is in search of a special someone. Definitely a movie to rent. It's a bit of comedy and drama. I think you'll be surprised by the movie, if you just judge it on the title.

c'mawn zam, without disney how would white suburban america successfully reinforce and continue racial, ethnic, and religious stereotypes with a clean conscience?

Saw Juno and loved it. Kimya Dawson is the shit.

Also saw There Will Be Blood and couldn't finish it. Something about using the same damn song for 80+ minutes just didn't do it for me. I know that there was a plot but I got lost because my mom ambushed me with a religion talk. After we settle that up, we went back to the movie but it was too late at that point.
