Why?
Please tell me anything this guy stands for that is not a handout of some kind, or an empty promise based on ignorant premises.
Please tell me his voting record or anything substantial that says he has a record of leadership.
Obama is the ultimate empty bag of air, even more than Hillary.
Not to mention I have never heard candidates more eager to run down their own country at the drop of a hat and a media that laps it up with every soundbite.
Lastly, anyone who tells you that we are in hard economic or political times right now and need more government to fix the country is an IDIOT, and never had a grandma. I had a grandma.
My grandma told me that during the 1940's and 1950's they could not afford MEAT to feed their children, did not have a car, dishwasher, clothes washer, air conditioning, television, cell phones (or even telephones), 3000 sq ft houses, etc. Buying anything luxurious meant not eating as well, so they did not do it.
My grandma told me that they had a WAR!!! In that war there were more soldiers killed at Normandy invading France in ONE DAY than have been killed in Iraq in 4 years. In this war the United States was proud to rid the world of an evil killer that was committing genocide on his own people. People who tried to undermine the war effort were called TRAITORS and were shot.
In this war the Europeans, instead of bashing the United States at every opportunity thanked us profusely for making sure they did not all speak German. They also took every single dime we gave them to rebuild their countries that were reduced to rubble. They also did not mind that we made sure the Russians did not sweep into their countries and make them all Stalin Communists.
In reality, a large part of our population has grown rich, spoiled, FAT (literally), whiny, soft, complacent, ignorant, and morally bankrupt. The poorest American would be considered weathly in most countries around the world,. We have so many jobs that people are coming here so fast from other countries that we cannot stop them all for Christ's sake!!!
Americans are losing their sense of historical perspective due to the fact that are getting horrible government doctrine laced educations where you find more emphasis on Earth Day than on Pearl Harbor day, the discovery of America is treated as a hostile takeover by the white slave masters, and Al Gore's movie is treated as a work of science.
As far as the economy, the only hard times I see are people deciding which cell phone plan they can afford or whether or not they might have to drop a few pay channels on their TV. Lots of college age kids today won't even take a job out of college because they feel if they can't make what I make (after 20 years of experience post college) why bother? They will just go live with their parents... after all they let me play X-Box all day long and give me free room and board.
Housing crisis? Is my responsibility to bail out people who borrowed money they can not pay back? Since when?
Health care? Illegals seems to get all the health care they want in Texas...
Energy crisis? See "Earth Day" above...
Yes. Please vote for Obama. That makes perfect sense.
