OK, I think I have a good combination. I would like some feed back on my bag set up please. This is what I got:

Champ Valkyrie - Control Driver

SOLS - Max D drives and Max D Anhyzers ( it works great)

Pro Valkyrie Max D dead straight fairways

JLS Regular Fairway driver

SOLF Max D With fade

QJLS Fairway Hyzers

Champ Panther Straight Midrange with mild fade

Champ Coyote Straight Midrange that is slightly understable

DX Spider Overstable Midrange

Pro D Stratus Understable Midrange

Star Monster Extreme Overstable ( when nothing else will do)

Dragon Shots over water

JK Pro Aviar-X Putter Putts over 30ft

Pro D Magnet Putts under 30ft

Not a control driver. That's your JLS.
IMO - you should get rid of either the valks or the sols. They do almost the same thing. Pick one.

You also don't need a disc specifically for shots over water that is a different mold. If you keep the valks in the bag just get some dx ones and throw those over the water if you are that concerned about not clearing it.

Also pick one putter mold.

I agree. A Valk is too fast and squirrely to be a control driver. the JLS is great, as well as the Eagle X.

You could also slim down your midrange lineup. 1 or 2 Midrange molds (2-4 discs total) is all you need. Most players go with either Rocs or a Wasp/Buzzz combo, with good reason, both of those setups work well.

If you want to stick with what you have, I would maybe just keep the Coyote/Spider combo, or maybe get multiple DX spiders in different degrees of wear. I dont have much experience with any of your midranges so its hard to say.

Spiders are small diameter stable.

I would eliminate either the coyote or panther, the panther is a smaller diameter faster version of the coyote, as you generate more snap, the panther will fly better for you.

Both have the same fade, but the Coyote has less turn more glide.

I also agree. you need one putter mold.

Yea. I have been having a tough time trying to figure out where my Champ Valkyrie fits in my bag. I think I am going to remove it.

As far as using two putters, The Avair is more has more predictable fade on long approach shots than the Magnet does for me. I am a dead shot with the Magnet with in 30 ft though, that is why I have the two putters. The Avair I guess I should have said is pretty much my approach disc. I have trouble sticking the Magnet on long approach shots.

The Coyote and the Panther do seem to fly about the same distance, so I guess I might have to park the Panther.

If you are dead on with the magnet from 30 you should be with the aviar as well. Pretty much all putter act the same or very similar from that range. Just practice up with that aviar if it is so much better on upshots and soon enough you won't need the magnet

Hmmm, something to think about. I think I am going to practice for about an hour this afternoon, and then hit a course and not use the Magnet at all and see what happens.

Gotta clean up the mids. Based on your current disc selection I would bet you'd love buzzes. Also if you get some DX Valks I can almost guarantee you'll end up liking them as much as your Pro Valkyrie. Maybe more. I'm also betting you would be better off without the Orions for now. Also note the areas of overlap in the categories above to get an idea what roles discs should fill among the different shots you throw.

Well, I have two DX Valks and I don't like either one of them. My Champ and Pro out fly both of them.

Ok, Here is my final set up. I made a few changes, and this combo worked great yesterday. I shot a 55. One of my better scores. I will try to explain what each disc will do, and what they do for me:



SOLS
Max D Driver for maximum distance , and will also do max d anhyzers. It works great.

SOLS

MAX D with left fade at the end of the flight. Almost made two aces yesterday with this disc . It works great.


Pro Valkyrie
Max D Fairway driver. Flies dead stright with 0 fade. Works great for long narrow fairways around 300ft.

LS Polaris
Shorter Fairway driver. Flies dead straight but shorter than the Pro Valk. I threw both the JLS and the Polaris yesterday, and it out flew the JLS buy 40ft. I got the Polaris yesterday in a trade at the course.


Beat Champ Valkyrie
This is my get out of trouble disc. This disc will hyzer,anhyzer , or fly straight. It works the best on long sweeping hyzers.


QJLS
Control Driver and just that. Puts the disc were I want it for hard shots.


Champ Panther
Straight flying midrange with slight left fade at the end


Star Coyote
Dead straight flying midrange with 0 fade. Just point and shoot. Also works great as a midrange anhyzer disc.


Classic Roc (beat)
Works great as a midrange that likes to drift to the right.


Star Monster
Very overstable driver. When nothing else will do.


Dragon
Shots over water. Also works as a great hyzer disc. Used it yesterday on a hyzer yesterday and it landed me 10 ft from the basket.


JK Pro Aviar-X
Slightly overstable putter. When I need a overstable putter, or approach shot, this disc works.


Pro D Magnet
Flies straight as an arrow for approaches and putts.



Now some people may not agree with my choices, but this combo seems to work really well for me. I also hope that this also might give some newbies some ideas for discs. I have gone through about 75 disc before I found this combonation.
