How many of you guys know about this course located in Kenosha? From what I have gathered so far, it is mysterious and nameless.


It is located right across the street from the UW Parkside DGC and campus, yet seems to be completely unaffiliated as far as I know. I went ahead an searched for it on google sattalite maps and to my surprise, it showed up clear as a bell! So I took the liberty of opening photshop and adding the basket locations and hole numbers to the best of my memory's ability for you guys.

Heres the scoop, the course in behind the cop shop.. If you can see the building, they can see you.. We do not have trash cans there yet so please pack out what you pack in.

#1 is a horseshoe RHBH hyser, 223ft

#2 DO NOT GO LEFT, it is a swamp... only 10ft wide it is a disc thief. path is in road on left of swamp is OB. 328ft

#3 Over sumac mound... 292ft

#4 downhill 469ft

#5 my favorite... corn is OB (not really in play for this t-pad) uphill 417ft

#6 first tree on right mando to stay left 319ft we are planting a phone pole there with a MANDO sign on it.

#7 straight well placed 420ft

#8 short 275... talking about making this a USDGC style hole.. stay tuned.

#9 375ft

This 9 hole course is an absolute joy to play. Great mix of shots and plenty of variety. Also Its a wonderful place to test your driving accuracy at full power, thats for sure. Its one of the best courses I have played in WI.


So who has more info on this gem? Im dying to help donate time and get some teepads and signs in there!

We proceeded with our normal rituals without worry














The pic doesnt reflect it well, but the area is VERY thickly wooded and brushed with long grass and thorn bushes.

My buddies and I just call it "Thornbrush" for that reason

I played Badlands when I was in Colorado a week or so ago, and that course is also right next to the police station. One of the tees is no more than 100 feet from the building. Nonetheless, every trash can in the park was full of beer cans/bottles. It threw me off.

Ha! The original layout of Watson Trail Park in St. Louis had a hidden tee for #6. Once you teed you would walk out into the open and SURPRISE! The Sunset Hills Police Station is right there! I used to love watching guys who didn't know it was there try to hide the beer and joints when they popped out of the woods right in front of the Cops. Six plays the other direction now, so you can see the Police Station from a long way away which takes away a lot of the fun.
